POSITION SUMMARY: (Recruiter for southern Maine)
The Recruiter is responsible for recruiting, screening, and interviewing employees and sub-contractors for the organization. Additionally, the Recruiter is responsible for supporting Living Innovations’ mission, vision, and values within the context of policies and standards established for and by Living Innovations.

• High school diploma or equivalency
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in human services related field
• Valid State issued Drivers’ License, current vehicle registration, insurance declaration and inspection

• Broad knowledge in recruitment and healthcare administration
• Ability to make well‐reasoned decisions, both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to use discretion in handling confidential information
• Ability to use effective & proficient English communication skills including speaking, reading, writing, listening, and presentation
• Ability to manage, prioritize, and carry out multiple tasks
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with individuals at all levels of the agency
• Ability to apply coping skills, such as flexibility in dealing with issues typical to a social service setting
• Ability to meet job performance measures with minimal direct supervision and guidance
• Knowledge of regulatory and legislative standards related to services provided by the agency
• Possess personal organization skills

Recruitment & Selection
• Collaborates with management to identify staffing needs
• Conducts outreach activities to develop applicant and sub-contractor leads
• Responds to staffing inquiries from internal and external sources
• Utilizes applicant tracking resources to collect and manage employment applications and resumes
• Utilizes Living Innovations matrix to identify and rank qualified candidates
• Conducts pre-employment screenings and schedules first interviews (when applicable)
• Conducts first interviews of potential candidates (when applicable) and identifies and coordinates second interviews for qualified candidates (when applicable)
• Ensures the final employment verification and post-offer, pre-employment background screening and exams are conducted per policy
• Follows up with candidates not selected for unemployment
• Conducts and/or assists in carrying out scheduled check-ins following Living Innovations onboarding processes with newly hired employees
• Supports staff retention activities

• Supports staff retention activities
• Maintains files specific to employment and sub-contract applicants
• Conducts quality assurance checks of employment and sub-contractor applicant files

• Takes the lead in networking and outreach events for assigned offices
• Assists with the marketing of Living Innovations programs and services
• Utilizes performance metrics
• Submits required documents and reports to management
• Responds to Business Office inquiries
• Attends and participates in staff meetings
• Provides office and/or administrative support as requested
• Performs other duties as assigned
